Cheat notes
 
 Multiple cheats can be entered simultaneously. Cheats are only active 
 for the next game session. All cheats will be disabled once you 
 return to the main menu. When any cheat is enabled, no money can 
 be earned in Road Rage mode.
 
 Drive red brick car
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(2), Square, 
 Circle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 Drive as Smithers in Mr. Burn's limousine
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(2), Square(2). 
 If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 Drive Nuclear Bus
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(2), Square, 
 X. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 Hidden New Year's character
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(2), Circle, 
 Square. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. 
 Alternately, set the system date to January 1 to unlock New Year's 
 Krusty under the "?" at the character selection screen.
 
 Hidden Halloween character
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(2), Circle, 
 X. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Alternately, 
 set the system date to October 31 to unlock Halloween Bart (dressed 
 in a Frankenstein costume) under the "?" at the character selection 
 screen.
 
 Hidden Thanksgiving character
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(2), Circle(2). 
 If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Alternately, 
 set the system date to the third Thursday in November to unlock 
 Thanksgiving Marge (dressed in a Pilgrim costume) under the "?" 
 at the character selection screen.
 
 Hidden Christmas character
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(2), Circle, 
 Triangle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. 
 Alternately, set the system date to December 25 to unlock Christmas 
 Apu (dressed in a Santa costume) under the "?" at the character 
 selection screen.
 
 Special car moves
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press X, Triangle(2), X. If 
 you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Hold Gas 
 + Brake + Handbrake while steering left or right while in mid-air 
 to execute the Road Rage Roll. Hold Gas + Handbrake while stationary, 
 then release Handbrake to execute the Speed Boost.
 
 Time trial mode
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Circle, Triangle, Square, 
 X. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. There 
 are no passengers, pedestrians, or traffic in this mode. Press Horn 
 to start, stop, and reset the timer.
 
 Horizontal split screen
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Square(4). If you entered 
 the code correctly, you will hear a sound. The screen will be split 
 horizontally instead of vertically in two player mode.
 
 Alternate views
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(4). If you 
 entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Additional views 
 will be unlocked at the pause screen. To unlock another set of views, 
 hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle, X(3) at the options menu.
 
 Overhead view
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Circle(3), Square. If 
 you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 Nighttime mode
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press X(4). If you entered 
 the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 Slow-motion mode
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press X, Circle, Triangle, 
 Square. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 Flat characters
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Circle(4). If you entered 
 the code correctly, you will hear a sound. All the people (except 
 the character you selected) will be flat.
 
 Show collision lines
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle(2), X(2). If 
 you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 No map display
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Square, Triangle(2), 
 Circle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 Disable all active codes
 
 At the options menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Start(4). If you entered 
 the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
 
 Hidden car
 
 Successfully complete all ten missions in mission mode to unlock 
 The Homer car. The car is selectable in any mode by choosing Homer's 
 picture at the car select screen.
 
 Mission skip
 
 Intentionally fail a mission five times to have the option to skip 
 the mission. Note: This cannot be done on the final mission.
 
 Extra time
 
 To get +2 seconds, hit the phone booths that have Mr. Burns' picture 
 on them. You can get +2 seconds in the road rage levels by running 
 over the Transit bus stops.
 
 Extra time and money
 
 Start in Evergreen Terrace. Drive straight ahead to the bus-stop 
 and pick up the passenger. They will want to go to the Kwik-E-Mart. 
 Drop them off and pick up the passenger just outside the Kwik-E-Mart. 
 They will want to go to Smither's apartment. Drop them off and shoot 
 down the alley opposite to pick up the passenger waiting at the 
 end. They will want to go to Smither's appartment. The passenger 
 will always be Martin, or the Sea Captain or Barney. Do a quick 
 180 and shoot down the alley to drop them off. Then, shoot up the 
 alley again to pick up the next passenger, who will always want 
 to go to Smither's apartment. Keep repeating this for easy money.

Frankenbart 
To unlock a Halloween version of Bart Simpson, set your PS2's date to 10/31. Bart 
will appear as Frankenstein on the character select screen (under the ? category). 
 
Holiday Krusty 
To unlock a special holiday outfit for Krusty, set your PS2's clock to January 1. 
Krusty, in his spiffy duds, will be selectable from the Character Selection screen. 
 
Homer's Secret Ride 
Complete all 10 stages in Mission Mode to unlock a hidden car. You can pick this 
car in any mode by selecting Homer's picture at the car selection screen. 
 
Marge the Pilgrim 
To see Marge all gussied up like a Pilgrim, set your PS2's date to Thanksgiving day 
(November 22). Marge will be selectable at the character select screen. 

Smithers 
To unlock Smithers, go to the Options screen. Press and hold R1 and L1, then 
press TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, SQUARE. 
 
Soapbox Car 
To unlock the Soapbox Car, go to the Options screen. Press and hold R1 and L1, 
then press TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, CIRCLE. 

Emergency brake:
Press R2 + Circle.

Do donuts:
Drive in the grass then hold L1 + R2 + X.

Tip for fast:
When you are down to a very low amount of time, almost every passenger that 
you get to their destination will give you a tip for fast. Note: This trick will not work 
when you have "Avoid Traffic" or "Destroy Objects". 

When driving around with a passenger, wait by the destination marker until timer 
hits 00. Drop them off to get a fast and 3 seconds added to time. 

When speeding, try and cut trough parking lots. You will get to the destination 
faster. When dropping someone off and there is a person waiting at the 
destination, try to swerve and stop where the is person standing.

Kill a mascot:
Get a dumpster and face the mascot. Ram the dumpster into him. His arms will 
stick out, but he will not move.

Drive through the school:
Go through the front doors of the school and watch as the teachers run as you 
drive down the halls and out the back door. Play as Bart for a funny comment.

Mission 2: Avoid getting hit by Mr. Burns:
Once you get to the cooling towers, Smithers and Burns will try to hit you with his 
limo. Once you hear "Get him Smithers", dodge the limo to your left. Immediately 
stop in the designated area to end the mission. If done correctly, Burns will pass 
you, then return and hit you after you drop Homer off. If done incorrectly, Burns 
will either hit you head on, or he will hit you from behind.

Mission 10: Easy completion:
A very easy way to complete Burns Arena, Mission 10, is to pause game play and 
set the camera to the bumper view. Then, just drive into the statues and avoid Mr. 
Burns and Smithers. 

Also try setting the view in the car for the mission.

Road Rage mode bonuses:
Every third person that gets in your car in Road Rage mode will have a bonus 
(safe trip, destroy stuff). 

Road Rage mode code warning:
If you use any codes while playing in Road Rage mode, you will not be able to 
earn money for your next reward.

Boost on turns:
Enable the "Special car moves" code. While driving, hold Hand Brake and as you 
start to skid, tap X. You should get an extra speed boost. Note: Do this at the 
beginning of the turn or it may not work.
