Easy money:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file, create a backup copy of the file 
before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "bgruppen.dat" file in the "\1503 
ad\data" folder. Look for the following entries in the file, about one fifth of 
the way down. 

Id: ALKOHOL
BauFirst: INFRA_STUFE_1C
Preis: 900
Bonus: 5, STEPPE|PRAERIE|DSCHUNGEL
PreisLevel: 0,5,10 

Change the price ("preis"), as already done, to "900" and your 
people will pay it. Obviously, other prices can be changed 
("Salz" is salt, etc.), but be careful. Do not mark up something 
that you plan on importing.


Money cheat
To make money fast and earn more than you spend go to the file 
BGruppen.dat by going to your computers directory and following this path:

C:\Program Files\1503 AD\Data\BGruppen.dat

(C: meaning the local drive on your computer)

Be sure to save the original file to something like BGruppenX.dat otherwise the 
original data will be lost. Printing a copy of this file would also be a way to save 
the original structure.

BGruppen.dat will appear in a notepad or wordpad window when you double click 
on it.  Find the section within this data file that reads Bedarfsguter or Consumer 
Goods.  Each section looks like this:

Most of this file is not in English.  
The translation for each Id: in order is as follows:

NAHRUNG = FOOD
LEDER = LEATHER
STOFFE = MATERIALS
ALKOHOL = ALCOHOL
SALZ = SALT
GEWUERZE = SPICES
TABAKWAREN = TOBACCO GOODS
LAPENOEL = LAMP OIL
SEIDESTOFFE = SILK
KLEIDUNG = CLOTHES
SCHMUCK = DECORATIONS
WEIN = WINE
PELZE = FURS
HEILKRAEUTER = HERBS

The Preis (meaning the sale price) of any of these items can be changed 
to a higher amount in order to earn more money more quickly.

I recommend changing the first two (food and leather) Preis to 
500 or higher because you will earn money with the first settlers 
since food and leather stands are the first to be built for the settlers
of your island.

Cheats:
This is a add-on for the bgruppen file, more like a caution.  Changing the preis has 
been known to force ships into selling themselves as soon as they are made, 
crashing, lock-up, destroy buildings, (happens only if you change names, and not 
all version have been tested), and once for some reason made you a automatic 
merchant, however crash as soon as you leave the game or try to save(loading 
included, trying ctrl alt delete result in freezing). So ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP FILE 
JUST IN CASE SOMETHING HAPPENS. And now we come to the cheats.

MAKE A BACKUP FILE FOR ANNOFRAME.DLL SO THAT YOU CAN DELETE THE NEW 
FRAME FOR THE OLD ONE JUST IN CASE THE NEW FRAME BREAKS DOWN ON YOU!

After the new frame is in the directory use these cheats.
