Level select:
Press X(2), White(2), Y(2), White, X, Y, Y, X, White at the "Press Start" screen or 
main menu.

Extra money:
Press Y, X, White, Y, X, White, X(2), Y, White, X, Y at the "Press Start" screen or 
main menu.

This code can be activated multiple times for more money. Load your profile, then 
return to the main menu screen with the scrolling message and re-activate the 
code. You will get the money on the profile that was loaded. Although you cannot 
enter the code twice in a row, you can use the money , save, load the profile and 
activate it again.

Reputation:
Press Y(2), White, X(2), White, Y(3), X(3) at the "Press Start" screen or main 
menu.

Easy money in career mode:
After finishing a mission or a race, save the game and return directly to the 
Garage. Go to "Profiles", then save your profile but do not save the game. Select 
your slot, remember not to save after choosing it. Press B or Back to return to the 
mission or race completed screen. Press A, then A again. You will be prompted to 
save. Select "No" and the game will take you back. Repeat it again and when you 
have a lot of money, select "Save". Remember, this only works after a mission or 
a race.

Arctic Wasteland: Treasure chest: 
From the start, head north until you almost reach water. Then, head east. Follow 
the water for a short distance until it ends, then head north. Go north until you see 
the American flag and a building inside a fenced in area. The treasure chest is in 
there.

Arizona: Treasure chest:
At the start of the level in roaming or racing mode, go in reverse until you pass 
the train tracks. Then, go to the right until you see a derailed train. Stop at the 
front of the train then go right until you reach a canyon with a piece of road and 
two hills in the middle. In between the two hills are two small houses. The treasure 
chest is located in between the houses. 

Autumn Leaves: Treasure chest:
At the start of the level, follow the road until you get to a church. Behind it is a 
treasure chest.

Castle Rock: Treasure chest:
Go back about 100 feet from where you start. There should be a skeleton guarding 
a treasure chest. 

Costa Rica Rally: Treasure chest: 
From the start, head east until you reach a temple. That is where you can find a 
treasure chest. If you cannot find the temple, go to the contour map and look for a 
small light gray area.

Crazy 2001: Treasure chest:
Go to the southwest corner of the lake near the start to find a treasure chest with 
money.

Egypt: Treasure chest:
Go through the first check point and drive northwest until you find the lake. There 
is a hill on the northwest shore. The chest is on top. 

Farm Road 109: Shortcut:
When trying to use the shortcut across the railroad tracks, use the Jeep Liberty 
Sport. It can almost always get across before the train crosses if you approach 
from the right side of the tracks. 

Farm Road 109: Treasure chest:
The treasure chest is located at the center of the lake.

Farm Road 109: Jump very far:
In single player free roam mode, get in front of a train and follow the tracks for 
about fifteen seconds then press White. This will put you under the train. Move out 
from under the train and you will skyrocket higher than the trees. Note: This works 
best with the Chevy monster truck.

Laguna del Sol: Treasure chest:
After Checkpoint 3, drive onto the large island straight ahead of the checkpoint to 
find a treasure chest.

Pikes Peak: Treasure chest:
Go to the lake that is the furthest from the end of the track. The treasure chest 
can be found on the land between the lakes.

Restricted Area: Treasure chest: 
Find the hanger with the UFO inside then go to one of the corners to find a treasure 
chest with money.

Restricted Area: Big jump:
Go on to the runway and drive to your left, towards the big plane. When you get 
there, go into the hanger that has the small plane at the far end of the it. If your 
vehicle is small enough (for example, the Jeep Wrangler Sport), you can drive 
under the plane. When you appear from under the plane, your vehicle will jump 
quite far (sometimes through the roof).

Thailand Rally: Treasure chest:
Pause game play and go to the contour map. Go to the bottom right corner of the 
map and press R until the map stops. Just to the left of the island is a brown spot. 
That is the Temple Of The Dancing Buddha, which is where a treasure chest is 
located.

Treasure Bay: Treasure chest:
From the start, follow the road until you see a ship on the beach. Go to the side of 
the ship where the sign is on the beach. The treasure chest is on that side of the 
ship. Note: You can only get the treasure chest by driving your truck alongside the 
ship. Start towards the back of the ship, facing towards the front. Drive slow to get 
the treasure chest.

Tri Baja 250: Treasure Chest:
From the start, follow the track in the same direction as if you were racing until 
you reach the bridge you drive on. The treasure chest is underneath that bridge.

Using a winch:
After buying a winch for your truck, you can use it by holding Black then aiming 
into an anchor spot (for example, a rock or tree). Press A to winch it in, press B to 
get slack, and press Black to detach the line. 

Note: You also need a bull bar to use the winch. You can use the winch while 
moving by first, activating the winch target, then pressing White. You will have to 
use the trigger to drive. 

To use winches while moving. Press Black to use the winch, then press White (car 
reset). You can drive around with the winch out and hook anything while moving.

Twin turbo system:
You can get a twin turbo system without being a member of the team by 
purchasing everything that is compatible for the car.

Easy money:
Choose a mission that has a big reward (such as one of the Alaska missions for 
$40,000). Complete the mission and get the reward. When prompted to save the 
mission, answer "Yes" and save it to the "Hard Disk" in an empty slot. Immediately 
after saving, go directly to the "Garage". Go to the "Profiles" option and 
choose "Save Profiles". Immediately after selecting "Save Profiles" press B to exit. 
A screen will appear, asking if you would like to save your progress. Select "No". 
The game should then bring you back to the mission reward screen and give you 
the same amount of money that you had just received. Keep pressing A until 
prompted to save your progress. Select "No" and it will bring you back to the 
mission reward screen and give you the same amount of money again. Repeat this 
process to get as much money as desired. However, once you save your progress, 
that mission is finished and you will have to do this trick on a different mission 
later if you desire more money. This trick will work on any mission.
